I have again been asked by the Production Company and AkzoNobel to attend the awards event in London at Burlington House to photograph the day’s activities and presentations. As a Corporate Photographer in London I am familiar with the proceedings at these events and know how to capture the day to make an interesting after event publication.<\/span><\/p>\n The AkzoNobel Science Awards are presented in recognition of outstanding scientific contributions by individuals in the fields of chemistry and materials science. The winner will be announced in early March 2014, and the Award, together with a prize of \u00a350,000, will be presented during a special event to be held at the Chemistry Centre in London on March 5, 2014.The 2012 UK Science Award winner was Professor Peter Bruce, Professor of Chemistry at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, for his outstanding contributions in the fields of solid state chemistry and electrochemistry, particularly in the area of materials chemistry related to energy storage.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I have again been asked by the Production Company and AkzoNobel to attend the awards event in London at Burlington House to photograph the day’s activities and presentations. \nFirst bestowed in the Netherlands in 1970 \u2013 when it was known as the Akzo Prize \u2013 the award was extended to Sweden in 1999, and re-named the AkzoNobel Science Award.
\nReflecting the increasingly global nature of the company, the Award was extended to China in 2010, the United Kingdom in 2012 and North America in 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n
