I was contacted by Dipali from Earth White to cover the opening of her first high street outlet in April. This was an occasion where the Mayor of Harrow was invited to perform the official opening with many of her clients, friends and family who gathered on the day. She specialises in three areas. Firstly her extensive knowledge of interior design where clients are overwhelmed with her ideas. Secondly Dipali makes and sells jewellery that has its own area of display in the shop. Finally she has a beauty therapy area where she performs various treatments of skin renewal treatments, massage and well being for female clients. The day was a huge success and Alternative Images Corporate Photographer in London was pleased to be there to produce image material for future promotions but also happy memories for Dipali and her family on the day.

Client in the Running Again for 2015
It is great news to hear that one of my clients UKRD who own various radio stations in the UK have had the notification that they have made the grade again this year to be at The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for Awards in 2015. As a corporate photographer in London I have been previously asked on many occasions to attend and take all the official photographs for the company who stage this event, Best Companies.

UKRD “Best Company” and gains 2015 Sunday Times Top 100 listing
12:11pm 5th January 2015
Private owned radio operator, UKRD Group, has been told this week that it has once again been accredited with an “extraordinary” Three Star Rating for 2015 by the Best Companies organisation and has also been notified that it will definitely have a place on the 2015 Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For listings.
The confirmation came as Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers, wrote to each team across the company confirming that they had had their best ever start to a financial year, “breaking all previous revenue and profit records through the first quarter ending in December 2014.”
“The news of our recognition for the sixth year in a row as an “extraordinary” Three Star company to work for, as rated by the Best Companies organisation, is testament to the fantastic managers and teams we have working right across the company and, whilst we won’t know what position in the Sunday Times 100 Best Company lists we hold until the end of February, it’s great to be told in advance that we’ve gained a top 100 listing for the sixth year in a row,” said Rogers.
UKRD has been accredited the Number 1 spot by The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies lists in each of the last four years from 2011 through to 2014, with Rogers himself being given a “Special Award” as the “Best Leader” of a Sunday Times 100 Best Companies mid-sized company for each of the last three years.
“We’ve had a superb start to our trading year,” he said. “Two of our stations, Yorkshire Coast Radio and Wessex FM, appear in the top three local stations with the highest Reach figures in England, our revenues have delivered strong growth right across the portfolio and our profits are seeing very good growth indeed.”
Rogers said, “the local focus is truly paying off and we are seeing the clearest evidence yet that when you deliver truly local radio to an audience that is keen to be served by the kind of committed teams we have in all our stations, the results feed through. Genuinely local commercial radio is a success story and I’m immensely proud that UKRD remains true to the principles of local radio for local people delivered by locally based and focussed teams.”
Seasons Greetings from Alternative Images
As another year is due to end as we approach the Christmas season for 2014. It’s time to look back over the events of the past year. The mistakes that have been made or achievements accomplished. I for one know I have made some errors and have learned from the experiences and this has given me the knowledge and opportunity to grow in a better direction. The achievements that I have made over the past year have been only a few but have been significant and I am please with that. One of those is that I have launched a new sister website for Alternative Images at www.corporatephotography.london
