The Shed

A recent conference at this rather fabulous venue was held by one of my clients. The venue was the M Shed in Bristol and from a distance you wonder if it’s there or not. But is a museum on the ground floor with the facility on the upper levels. It has a wonderful bright meeting area and great views over the bay with boats and restaurants viewable in the distance.

An Important Member of the Team

Meet our company cat, Jess. She is now two years old and acts more like a dog than a cat. Her favourite food at the moment is Tesco’s crunchies. In any flavour she’s not bothered. Main roll within the company is to sit on your lap whilst making phone calls and giving licks and cuddles when you don’t really have the time or sitting in various bags and boxes of equipment.

A packed audience gathered at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on 25 September for BSDA’s 25th anniversary Industry Lunch with speeches from BSDA president David Saint and former government communications chief Alastair Campbell. They spoke about how much the soft drinks industry, politics, the media and wider society had changed in 25 years, and how much, inevitably, had stayed the same.

David Saint concluded that “the industry grows by listening to consumers, by serving their needs, and by thinking ahead to what consumers might need tomorrow.”
